On Todays episode of the Yoga Revealed Podcast, we have the honor of introducing Boulder’s  Vedic Meditator Teacher, Yashoda Devi-Ma, a master in her trade! If you feel that meditation is one of the most challenging and inaccessible concepts, then tune into this podcast! We reveal the key components to how one can start a meditation practice from scratch!

Welcome to your New LIFE! Full of unwinding stress, re-inventing possibility, and approaching life from a whole new perspective.

Listen close from someone who started out in the chaotic scene of LA as a fitness icon, slowly listening to the signs of the universe and bringing her closer to moments of peace and herself through the practice of Meditation. After working with body for more than a decade she transferred her passion for transformation of body to consciousness through Vedic Meditation and Sattva Yoga.

This is Alec Vishal Rouben, and I truly believe if I can sit down every day, So can you! The asana was my first introduction to yoga, and it was solely physical. Overtime, I began to find interest in the philosophies and the deeper forms of the subtleties yoga held. Meditation was a huge key for this insight to reveal itself to me. I sat down with Yashoda and she taught me Vedic Meditation, which is mantra based, allowing me to gain control of the wrappings and the whirlings of the mind. One of the biggest take away I have gained from learning meditation from Yashoda is that there is no such thing as A Bad Meditation or A Good Meditation.

Tune into this insightful episode of The Yoga Revealed Podcast as we demystify the practice of meditation as found in the Vedic Traditions and learning how to simplify our lives!

4 books suggested by Yashoda BUT (Books won't bring your full experience.  Less intellectualizing and more experiencing. Get out there and close your eyes!)

  2.  A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson
